Learning pods are small group of co-learners. Each pod has a leader who helps organize it, but the pod emerges and is managed with everyone's participation.
A key aspect of a learning pod is that it must be small enough that everyone's voice is heard and important. They are generally made up of 6-8 people.
Learning pods may be a group of students with a teacher being the leader. Or it may be group of educators, or employees.
Learning pods bring together people who can quickly find a Common Ground and have established shared trust. The all come into the group with special gifts – their 'superpowers'. For some, these superpowers are already known. For others, the learning process allows them to discover them.
