Networking

We describe how wiki hooks up to the network because it does so through mechanisms not so frequently used by end users browsing the web.

The wiki client is a single page browser application that expands on typical web formats and protocols so that wiki pages can be moved easily and found later through metadata that accumulates and travels with pages.

The wiki server application provides pages editing to a single owner and page distribution to all other users typically by cross-origin ajax requests.

Internet Addresses identify a server offering services.

Domain Names help others find sites on a server.

Claims establish one author's ownership of a site.

Origins establish one site's responsibility to a reader.

Secure Shell for command line and port forwarding.
