Creatively inspired by a DIG retro today, we explore what it means to belong. As we hold space for each other through the process of the DIG Learning Framework, we define, connect and understand ideas, concepts and to each other. We wonder how we might sustain this feeling, a feeling of deep connection.
In sharing our journeys of learning, we discover that our creative genius has been unleashed. We have revealed our wholeness, goodness and truth in a way that creates beauty. As Samson reminded us, beauty unfolds beauty, "Our stories are beautiful, but to share, one requires courage."
We are called upon to be courageous in this journey. To follow our Curiosity, to share our surprises, to share our feelings so that our individual stories might be woven together in a shared story. As Erin observed, "We are sharing and everyone is listening."
As we deeply listen to each other, we are creating a space for creative collaboration. Ben explains, "Learning is not an independent thing," as we learn about, from and with each other. In order to do this, we are called upon to be authentic, vulnerable and alive.
Lisa explained that we are becoming alive as we search for human connection, where we feel seen, feel heard and feel valued. In the feeling, we find peace with ourselves, within ourselves and with others. Christina describes the collective experience as "a place of peace."
We now wonder, how might we create, sustain and maintain these loving relationships with ourselves, our family, friends and peers and with humanity, as a whole? How might we invite others into this space so that we might all experience this sense of belonging? How might we remain in curiosity, as Nick calls us to be?
