Base knowledge refers to the most fundamental or basic pieces of knowledge within the system. These serve as the starting points for derivation paths.
In case of cyclic derivation paths, we will establish a protocol to arbitrarily choose the last-encountered node as the base knowledge. This ensures that we can resolve knowledge along the derivation path by gradually substituting base knowledge.
