This guy can be a very informative and entertaining writer.
He wrote a book called Accidental Empires, which is a very funny and informed view of the history of Silicon Valley through the late seventies and eighties. The book was also used as the basis for a TV series.
He also busts on Re Factoring with the usual bravado of one who delightedly claims the fully clad emperor is, in fact, naked...
