Collective Patterning

We imagine collective patterning beginning with individual meaning-making through a process of Active Inference. Here the markov blanket, with autopoietic properties, allows for the emergence of meta-meaning.

Markov Blanket

This meaning exists within a network that holds and accesses this meaning with different levels of 'cognitive efficiency'. We recognize that the structure of the interrelationship of these patterns, the 'meta-edges', along with the existing 'biological milieu' is important. The simpler the structure of the meta-edge and milieu, the higher the cognitive efficiency.

Individual Patterning

As we introduce collective learning through practices of Deep Listening, we notice the connections of surprise and wonder between learners:

Collective Surprise

The 'weaving' allows for Creative Amplification as shared meaning, through shared patterns, is cultivated.
