Common Ground

When we learn with others, it is essential that we establish a 'common ground' that aligns us and allows us to venture out in a way that allows something surprising to emerge.

The common grounds defines our 'why' for learning.

We are called to find our _Why_, that which defines purpose, purpose that defines meaning.

I find being perfectly clear about one's purpose is no simple an undertaking. We spend so much time in our careers, and lives, in the 'what' and 'how' space. What needs to be done and how to achieve it seems to have dominated my time and energy in education.

This common ground may be an area of study. Or it may be a challenge that we need to face together. Or it may be an exploration in a question, where we seek a shared truth.

Everyone is a co-learner in this process where we venture forth in Learning Pods.

It is essential that authentic trust is established in order for each team member to bring their best – to unleash their Creative Genius. Their best will require them to take risks where failure is not only possible, it is expected. Failure that allows us to learn fast as we Know the Problem better.
