Courageous Vulnerability

Mary Beth asked me last night about a challenging business issue that she is facing. She asked if I thought it would be okay to talked to her teachers about this issue, to get their input and ask for their help. She then expanded and wondered if she might even go out to the parents in her program and ask for their guidance and support.

I told her that, in my experience, walking into big challenges with Courageous Vulnerability is really important. By doing so, you are forced to walk through our fear of shame and are able to tap the resources and, more important, the creative genius of those in your community. At least that has been my experience.
