The laboratory aimed PDP-11/44 was among the last of DEC's TTL implementations.
I wrote my first Morse Code Sweep program on this laboratory control computer. Some friend I've now forgotten gave me access to the lab.
Their version had ADC and DAC modules built in. That made it easy to connect my cassette tape recorder.
I'd dabbled with other, larger PDP-11 computers but don't remember much about them.
I do remember that their fortran compiler generated threaded code, an idea that found a home in Forth.
