DMX

a “Knowledge Building Platform” site

At this moment you may wonder: “are DMX’s system designs actually grounded on reflections about Knowledge and its genesis, or is DMX another one of those tech apologists who like to misuse words like Knowledge, Learning (as in Machine Learning), and Intelligence (as in Artificial Intelligence) to characterize their software creations – just as if terms which belong to the realm of life for thousands of years could be transferred to the realm of machines as easy as a frog jumps from one water lily to another?” – Well, this preface is for you. docs

From DeepaMehta to DMX ===

> Since version 5 the "DeepaMehta" project is named "DMX". > The main project is [`dmx-systems/dmx-platform`](https://github.com/dmx-systems/dmx-platform).

DMX is a knowledge building platform. The vision of DMX is a Post-Desktop Metaphor user interface that abolishes applications, windows, files, and folders in favor of stable personal views of contextual content. Technically DMX is made of Server-side: Java, Felix (OSGi), Neo4j, Lucene, Jetty, Jetty WebSocket, Jersey (JAX-RS). Client-side: Vue.js, Vuex, Vue-Router, Element UI, Cytoscape, Quill, Leaflet (optional).
