We aspire to see what we might have missed by telling of what we have seen. Here, for practice, we see homes by observing the doorways to houses.
Many will have had the experience of their train about to pull away form the platform. The warning alarm sounds that the sliding doors are about to close. The anxious feeling of missing this train instantly rises but as the doors close keeping safe causes hesitation, and then acceptance that there will be another train to catch.
There are moments on a journey when a door is opened and a new garden of potential discovery is revealed. A place to wander, a place to be surprised, a place to eventually find new meaning – a rich meaning waiting to emerge.
As we imagine opening the door to a new way of thinking, a new consciousness, we can't expect known words to help us. For our known words are understood with our existing way of thinking.
