Ego-Shooter

Ego-Shooter (from the ancient Greek ἐγώ egṓ or modern Greek εγώ egó and Latin ego "I" and English shooter "shooting game"; English First-Person Shooter, abbreviated FPS) is a category of computer games in which the player acts from the first-person perspective in a freely accessible, three-dimensional game world and fights other players or computer-controlled opponents with firearms. The character controlled by the player is human or human-like. Ego-Shooter is a neologism from the German-speaking world; in the English-speaking world it is referred to as first-person shooter. wikipedia
