In a paper presented at the 2017 PURPLSOC Conference, Takashi Iba and Ayaka Yoshikawa explore the nature of egoless creation as the foundation for a new theory about the nature of the creative process.
Using the work of Alexander as his springboard, he proposes a new Creative System Theory. This theory incorporates the work of Luhman and others, making a distinction between discovery that happens in a creative system and thought that happens in a psychic system.
The theory throws light on what might be happening in the process of Trialectical Synthesis. It also explores the role that patterns languages can play in this process when they are aligned to a shared aspiration of wholeness in autopoietic systems when we are Cultivating the Garden.
