Exploring whether we now had enough reliable event data to set baseline performance for Apdex reporting we had need to deploy a query/computation to field engineers. Electron scripts deployed with npm provided a simple solution.
Sites with hundreds of applications needed an efficient way to pick, preview, and apply the computation now available. Experience here would guide a more designed in-application experience.
We showed accounts and api keys in a parameter block prefilled with keys for the Personatron example.
Pressing continue would query the total of all account applications and show a table of qualifying information.
A button in the last column would run the query/calculation for that account. Pressing more than one worked fine with javascripts async/callback architecture. If the numbers came back good, apply them to production.
