A page constructed for the browser but not yet stored anywhere else is shown as a translucent page with no border.
# Actions that create ghosts
The following actions render a __ghost-page__ when that page exists only in the browser as a ghost of a page that has been or will soon be:
- A link to a non-existent page opens a ghost that offers to create the missing page.
- A search creates a ghost with References to pages found in the neighborhood. These can be dragged elsewhere.
- A click on a Journal Action will show a previous revision as a ghost page which can be forked over more recent changes or items dragged as wanted.
- A drop on a Transporter will create a ghost page from which items can be taken. If the ghost has a desireable name then it can be forked in full as that name.
