Innovation carries a lot of risks and, quite frankly, can be exhausting. But the rewards of this process far outweigh the risks.
Developing a cohort allows innovators to know that they are not alone in this path, but that there are others who have this Confidence and Courage to take risks, to accept failure, and to learn quickly.
Each school has educators who are innovators. But often they are in different parts of the building teaching different subjects. By identifying them and bringing them together for frequent check-ins, they can not only share their learnings with their colleagues, they can also get important support for their journey.
The support from the Leader is important for organizing this cohort, as it is important for these quick check-ins happen regularly, either weekly or bi-weekly.
