Here we explore a simple technique for creating and sharing audiovisual playlists.

We still don't have an easy way to share and create playlists. There are old and dying standards like SMIL, and we should also explore how to create audiovisula playlists using javascript and HTML5 Video player.

# VLC Playlists

VLC has a simple built in way of managing playlists, together with an api that lets us manage the playlist. We look to build our wiki-native way of representing playlists on this - though with an eye on how web standards are looking to implement this (SMIL) and how we might seek to do this in a decentralised and collaborative way.
