Pocket infrastructures is a term we use to refer to infrastructures that are: * Simple. * Extensible. * Self-contained. * Work well with low or intermittent Internet connection (online and offline). * Run well on a wide variety of hardware, from USB flash drives, single board computers (RasberryPi alike), laptops and desktops, as well as servers and machines of intermediate or higher specifications than those exemplified here.

Examples include Pharo, Fossil, TiddlyWiki and Grafoscopio.

The term was coined by Offray Luna for his doctoral research.
