Recent Activity Transclusion

The Roster plugin can transclude contents from other rosters. This enables an instructor to manage the roster, and therefore the attention, of an entire class. This same mechanism allows the periodic updates from our search engine to publish a roster of currently active sites.

The search engine shares one page which it rewrites with each sweep through the federation. That page contains a roster of recently active sites. Anyone interested in this activity can add the transclusion markup to any roster they might like and this content can be forked around the federation without going out of date.
