Regenerative Unfolding

The answer has been inside us for this entire time – we just were waiting for us to understand.

As Friston seeks to understand the unfolding of organisms and Ward seeks to understand the unfolding of software, I have been seeking to understand the unfolding of meaning.

We now recognize this unfolding happens within the blanket, the Markov blanket, where new patterns emerge that become known and named as a part of a larger unfolding.

An understanding revealed by the monkey, what we have affectionately called the Markov Monkey, where surprise creates connections of emergent meaning, meaning that was felt and understood in Moments of Grace.

Moments when we sit and listen in a Monadic Vortex of unknowing from which new potential emerges in patterns of unfolding meaning.

We are beginning to understand something important.
