Smalltalk Report

Alas, Smalltalk Report was discontinued in 1998.

The Smalltalk Report was a Smalltalk Language-only trade magazine published by SIGS http://www.sigs.com www.sigs.com. Its editors were John Pugh and Paul White, two fine gentlemen who are also co-founders of The Object People.

Bobby Woolf, Kent Beck and Kyle Brown regularly published articles in the magazine. Jan Steinman and Barbara Yates had an ongoing column. Ken Auer, Ward Cunningham and many other patterns people have published there as well. It had a sister magazine--the Cpp Report, also published by SIGS.


What about publishing a Smalltalk ezine? Why not leverage various articles and focus upon increasing the profile of Smalltalk. Smalltalk truly is a better language and development environment than Java and C++. -- John Gardner
