Media Garden production requires custom software to enable the unique aspects of the media produced and the way in which it is produced. Luckily a great deal of the software we need is now available open source.
The following software tools are required to support the media creation and archiving aspect of the software: 1. Glitch Creation Software 1. Archive Metadata Software 1. Media Archive Software 1. Epistemic Navigation Software 1. Production Support Software
However there is a significant job still to do in terms of integration, and in particular in training a team to apply and develop the techniques required.
