Symphony of Intransparency

One can surmise that this symphony of intransparency at the end of the 20th century accommodates a widespread mood.

One thinks of the difficulties of a development policy in the direction of "modernization" as it was conceived after the Second World War. Think of the influences of global financial speculation, based on forecasting projections, on all the major parameters of the economy and, by extension, on politics. One thinks of the retreat of the therapeutic profession to constructivist concepts and directives, introduced like probes into an unknown terrain with the expectation that afterwards one will see better why it did not work. Think of the less than encouraging experiences with reform policies, for example in the field of Education. The examples could easily be multiplied. The question is in what ways we can adjust our cognitive tools, and especially epistemologies, in response.
