Beard, Robert. 1997. The Noteless Classroom – archive > It specifically focuses on reducing the onus of note-taking while virtually eliminating the necessity of writing and drawing on the blackboard. This is accomplished by including the instructor's lecture notes in the on-line syllabus then projecting them onto the board during class. Students may then refer to the notes before, after, and during class, when the instructor may also simply refer to them rather than scrawling them across the blackboard or disrupting class to distribute them in the form of handouts.
