Third Floor

Navigation. Here you will find out how we move quickly between pages lined up in this single tab of the web page browser. The escalator links continue up but you can go other ways at will.

scroll

Try sliding the pages left and right with the keyboard arrow keys. We call all the pages lined up the 'lineup'.

Try sliding back to an earlier floor and hopping the escalator there. Click links tp retrieve a page that will replace those to the right.

Try clicking this escalator over and over. Clicking the same link over and over will retrieve the same page into the same place over and over.

back

Try clicking the browser's back button to retrieve earlier versions of the lineup. Try forward. It's like a time machine.

The browser's back and forward buttons work because every lineup has its own long url.

home

Try clicking the large flag by the title of a page. This reconfigures the lineup to be just that page and the welcome page for the site.

The browser's back button will bring back the pages that just disappeared.
