What you Celebrate, Matters

I have been pondering lately the importance of celebration.

When you celebrate with a team you validate individuals. What you celebrate motivates them and those around them. So, what you celebrate, can have a huge impact on an organization.

So, at work, I am being much more intentional to communally celebrate the work of others. These celebrations are focused on creativity and, what I call, the Flip.

Creativity is all about coming up with a new solution. The Flip is the speed that it takes to make a new idea a reality. Being creative and being fast to make a new idea real. Both are essential for a vital organization.
