Stumbling over Refactor Towards The Center Of The Page in Random Pages I got the idea of formulating a typologie of kinds of Wiki Mess.
Wiki Mess is the generic term for disorder in a wiki.
Wiki Chaos - total disorder of all wiki
Refactor Towards The Center Of The Page - about handling pages grows old and large and unwieldy because being commented on on top and bottom.
Surface Refactoring - about handling pages with multiple blocks of content probably each in Thread Mode or even Thread Mess
Thread Mess - runaway Thread Mode with disconnected subthreads running in all directions
Interleaved Parallel Thread Mode - special case of ditto I guess
Irrevocable Thread Mode - stuck Thread Mode
Minor disorders like those needing Refactor By Extracting To Page, Split By Topic Not By Opinion, Migrate Inline Comment are covered by Acceptable Refactoring.
Dangerously complex, but no mess is Nested Thread Mode.
