Home or a welcome-XXX page is a unique and intuitive concept that we can leverage in wiki.
It is both a place that specifies domain level scope - ie welcome-visitors is a canonical page about a site, and a branching off point where we can navigate to other domains (such as Welcome Authors).
# Proposal
The proposal covered in Redefining Flag Clicks allows us the space to express these concepts and navigate to alternate dimensions.
Clicking on the welcome-visitors flag would bring up a page which allows you to navigate to other dimensions. How this is done is up for grabs.
For instance there could be a linear progression:
welcome-visiors => welcome-authors => welcome-admins
or a generic home-dialogue could give space for arbitrary tools and the opportunity to navigate to other specified wiki-dimensions through normal wiki-links.
