We think about cycles as waves. We know this about waves: >Waves can only exist in fields when there is a force that tends to restore the field to equilibrium. wikipedia
We think about this force, calling it a 'normalizing force', that seeks to restore order. A force, we suspect, that may be related to the what Friston is calling the Free Energy Principle.
We think about this force at it relates to the creative cycle – that which defines the experience of deep learning which we experience in Learning Cycles.
We ponder the nature of this force, something we suspect helps illuminate the importance of intention – Guiding Intention – sensing that these intentions may very well define the normalizing force that guides and enables the creative process.
Might we be stumbling into a trivium for a process theory of creativity, that of intention, individual emergence and collective emergence?
_Might this insight also help us understand why the essence of Agile was have diluted when practitioners focused more on 'production' rather than 'emergence' when these practices were applied with a Cartesian mindset rather than a Whiteheadian mindset? _
