One cannot exist alone. For, in order for one to exist, there must be another who acknowledges the existence through an interaction. To exist means something is changed.
To name the solitary path means to recognise that there is a need to name it. We are left wondering who benefits from the naming. By naming the event, we are acknowledging another being, an Emergent Moment, or a change in state.
Even in times that we experience the feeling of loneliness, we are swiftly reminded that we are not alone. After some time, the feeling inspires curiosity as to how to end the despair. The desire to exist, to survive, to thrive resurges.
The human instinct to share our experiences with an other is what keeps us Universally Connected. Who, or what, is the other is the question that has evaded humans for centuries. For some, the answer is a Deep Truth that cannot be named.
This reminds us of the story of The Footsteps in the Sand, by an unknown author. As we travel this solitary path, the story goes, we are carried in times of trouble by our Maker.
In fact, it was never a solitary path at all.
