Walks, Traces, and Re-Entry

Within this stance – see Distinctions First –, a *walk* is nothing but the **temporal sequence in which distinctions are drawn**, and a *trace* is the record that such drawings occurred in that order. Different “graphs” do not correspond to different layers or representations, but to **different observations of the same distinctions**, produced by privileging different orders of drawing. What appears as a pedagogical contract versus a domain logic is therefore not a conflict of models, but a **re-entry phenomenon**: the same distinctions are drawn again under the observation of how they were previously drawn. Missing explanations, weak links, or broken instructional promises are diagnosed not as missing elements, but as **distinctions that were expected yet never drawn**.
