(Monday July 26) John I am considering the mythic nature of what we are doing. We are creating a pathway for people (children) to engage in a transformative exercise, I have shared with Kerry that I see that as analogous to Campbell's "Journey of the Hero).

The teaching of the Hero's Journey is usually applied in understanding the structure of a story, a film or such, but it can also be used in analyzing and applying any transformational experience, and will generally have the same elements. Here is a link to a short animation:
